My problem started about 2 weeks ago, when it really started to get cold. When I turn the heat on in the car, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Some days it will start out cold and never heat up or the heat will come on for like 3 minutes and then it sarts to blow cold air. What could be the problem?

Hey KHIBABY23,

This problem sounds like the cooling system is low on coolant ior the temperature blend door actuator is not working. Please wait until the engine is cold and check the level, also here is a guide that will help you.

Please run down this guide and report back.

If it has dual climate control, check the blend air doors. One could be sticking.

Check for vent doors in the HVAC system that are not opening and check to make sure the plastic duct work is still all attached under the dash.

Try pulling fuse HVAC inside car it may be a stuck actuator and pulling fuse for sixty seconds may reset it. See picture for testing.
