Harmonic Balancer for Mazada 626 "V6"

I have a 2000 626 v6 140,000 (MILEAGE). I took the car to the repair shop after the harmonic balancer broke on the car and was wondering how hard is it to change this part out yourself? Secondly I have had no luck on finding this part anywhere except at the dealership which wants $300.00 for it. Any help on ordering this part online would be great. I have looked everywhere and still no luck. On the maintance side of the house I am probably rated a 2-3 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Not hard to change yourself. The 2497cc V6 eng is the same eng thats in the Mazda Millenia. You can get the part at http://www.rockauto.com/ for about $75.00 plus shipping. Just put one on my 1999 Millenia 2497cc V6.

Thanks a bunch. I did go to the website and looked for the item. I didnt find it on the website looking in the Mazada section so I am hoping they can help me out over the phone. I will make sure to pass the word along about this website and to make donations for your knowledge.
