Last week my fiance opened driver's door to get in and a screw hit the ground and after closing door it will not open....by comparing the screw to passenger door, I can tell that it is one of the 3 screws that secure the latch assembly on door...problem: how can I get the door open to work on it? The interior door panel screws (plastic) can only be accessed with door open. Any ideas? Thks

hi geronimo1885,

This is going to be tricky and hope my suggestion works.

The latch is now loose so the openers are not pushing or pulling far enough to get it to open.

Remove the inner opener assy and pull the wire by hand, it would give you more clearance.
