My car does not take off quickly when I apply throttle in fact it seems to lose power, the rpms drop and the car lurches violently, no warning lights on. While idling if I push the throttle there's a spot in the throttle where you can hear the engine losing power. If I slowly push the throttle it gives me acceleration. The vehicle was fine until the new clutch was installed. Cleaned the throttle body, new wires, plugs have white powdery film on the end, Engine idles at 900 even when the air is on but the lurch isn't as bad with the A/C on. The higher the gear the better the acceleration.

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, bogging etc. Could be caused by one of the following below.

Inspect and test all the following listed below and get back with some results

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
