Mass Air flow sensor

Would like to know where it located and how to service it by cleaning it or if I need to replace it . I have a code reader and it says mass air flow sensor is low . what steps should I take in fixing this problem?

cleaning doesn't help as they are self cleaning. changing the part may not fix it if it doesn't it's a short or something else.
