Hi, I have the car listed above with the 1.5 l single overhead cam. Cannot find the MAP sensor location on this car, nor can I find any diagrams or any other help on the internet to where the location of the MAP sensor is on this car. I can find everything on a 1.6 but not a 1.5. I know where the mass air flow is throttle position sensor air idle control, but I cannot find the MAP sensor. Please help I need a diagram, or something. Please help, thank you.

Hello, this engine doesn't seem to have a MAP sensor, most vehicles either have a MAP Sensor or a Mass Air Flow sensor. What kind of issue are you having? Check engine light? Codes?
Here's all the engine wiring diagrams below. It's only the 1.6l that has a MAP Sensor so it's a Speed Density Engine, where a Mass Air Flow Sensor set up is not. If it's showing up on the Scan tool, just not reading anything, they might be using the same ECM in both the 1.5 and 1.6 and it's just listed in the data stream, that can happen with Oxygen sensors too that are not actually present in the system, Sometimes they'll read 99% and strange things like that if it doesn't have that particular sensor.

There is a Technical Service Bulletin you should see. I will post it below.
There are two of them. These are actually Recalls.
