In some Hyundai Getz and new i20 models, engine has to be started only "when clutch pedal fully depressed and key at start position". This particular feature is utmost importance to me considering the double start while engine running to save atarter unit.

Now, found some fuses corresponding to this ignition starting system as picture attached herewith. Not sure, which one is yet.

Can I extend pin 30 of relay to the positive side of those fuses which corresponds to ignition start power and another to pin 87 of the relay. This relay is then connect in such a way that when clutch is fully depressed, relay is activated which would eventually allow current to start engine when key at start position.

In case, if the above assumptions are correct, any issues or problems in future if keep continue to use this new system? I heard starter consumes huge current and power! Will the relay survive this huge current?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

I'm not sure I fully understand. Do you want to bypass the clutch switch which allows the starter to engage?

Also, there are no relays that could handle the draw of the starter.

Let me know.
