I have a 6.0 Ls and a 4l80e that are both still stock. I will be putting them in a 1972 GMC 3500. I do not have the stock wiring harness, fuse block, or ECU. Can I use a standalone wiring harness and the Terminator X Max to wire the stock Ls and stock 4l80e for now, and then in the very near future use the same standalone harness and Terminator X Max for the same combo, but rebuilt to 500hp to the flywheel?

Yes, you can! As long as you keep the same tooth count reluctor wheel for the crankshaft. All the sensors used are the same, some might just be in different locations so keep your wires long to accommodate.

Thanks for using 2CarPros!

Best,
