Alarm problems

The car does not lock or unlock, but when I hit the lock but on the key it makes the sound but does not lock. When I hit the unlock button it flashes the lights like it should but does not unlock. so my best guess is the lock control module or the BCM. Please help me.

Thanks for making the video I wish everyone would it makes my job much easier. These cars had a problem with the drivers side door module which causes the problem you have described. These units are exposed to moisture in the door which causes them to fail. But to be sure lets do some checks to make sure we are on the right track.

There are four fuses that run the system we should start by checking them #45, #46, #24, #2.
