Location of inertia switch

Where is inertia switch location on my vehicle?

Inertia switches are mainly a Ford thing. Your vehicle uses an Electronic Fuel Injection, (EFI) relay on the left side of the engine compartment, and a circuit opening relay behind the left side of the dash. The EFI relay turns on any time the ignition switch is on. Along with the many other places it sends voltage, it supplies twelve volts to the circuit opening relay contacts. That relay switches the twelve volts to the fuel pump.

The circuit opening relay is turned on by the engine computer.
