Check on ebay for factory Lincoln manuals - if nothing else for the "description and operation" sections. A lot of dealerships have closed and these are showing up for a fraction of their original cost.
These are not simple systems - to (attempt) to understand/diagnose/repair these cars without a "scan tool", SST's (special service tools), OASIS (online automotive service information), TSB's (technical service bulletins), and some books may be challenging.
Some of these new cars have a dozen or two "modules" - you think you're "pissed off" now, wait 'till your car won't move 'cause "internet explorer cannot display page." Do youwant to send an error message.
