1998 Lincoln Town Car vapors in the passenger compartment

I drive a Lincoln Town Car 1998, it has 90 thousand miles. As of two days ago. Water vapors from the heating system ( smells like that) is being thrown into the passenger compartment through heating/cooling vents. At first it was minimal, the second day, quite substantial. What's the problem?
