1998 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 182000 miles

How do I find out what numbers my spark plugs are I pluged it into a machine and it told me that number 1 and 8 are misfiring and well I bought the wires I need and I need to know which ones are number 1 and 8. I have changed all the plugs. Just need to find out where is 1 and 8 Thanks?
