Should I be replacing the air-fuel ratio sensors? How do they affect the vehicle? How much should it cost to replace those?

They are very important factor if fuel mixture and emission
if bad and engine running rich will cause damage to the catalytic converters
and its a lot bigger bill than what you have to be now
A/F sensor they are a bit more money than the O2 sensor expect to pay $90 to $140 for the sensor
good luck
