1992 Lexus LS400 V-8 138000 miles. We are the original owners. Trac light came on. We took to the dealer and had most of the sensors and Trac control units replaced. In addition we had an XM radio installed. My wife drove the car to work and plugged in her cell phone (cigarette lighter) to charge. As she got close to work she unplugged her phone charger from the cigarette lighter, heard a beep, and the check engine and Trac control light came on and stayed on for 5 minutes, then went off. We returned it to the dealer (mind you the original repair was $2000.00) and they said that this can occur when using the cigarette lighter plug for power. It never happened before this. Suggestions?
