Can you pls explain the engine coolant system. My car is getting heated up. And the coolant doesn't seem to be going into the radiator. I filled in coolant in radiator, it drank a whole can !. There are like 3 caps for coolant system. Should I fill in all of them?

I checked engine oil and other fluids they look ok.

Fill the lowest one first and work your way to the highest one. Leave the cap off the highest one to let the air out of the cooling system while you fill the lower ones

All I need to know is where the thermostat is on a 1992 lexus ES300? I checked the top radiator hose and its not there so please help!
