1993 Lexus LS 400 Dash lights

Dash lights will flicker and go black for 15 to 30 min. After starting out. Then may come on and stay on. If it's cold outside they will stay on for a short time when starting out then go black after car warms up. I did replace the battery about 6-8mo. Ago. Could this have caused this problem?

We fixed our problem (common in 1992-1998 models) by following instructions posted by fellow owners.

This happens when the cluster is going out I would get a used one from ebay and installed, this will solve the problem.
