If engine stops while driving on freeway could it be the distributer coil?

Do you get any trouble codes when this happens? If you get a check engine light you can have it scanned at a auto parts store.
Does the car restart fine?
Is this a intermittent problem or does it always happen?
Do you get any signs before the stall?
There are several problems that can cause this but we need alittle more info before guiding you in the right direction.
