I have been trying to find out the name or the fix to the quick connect fuel line that comes off the fuel injector rail down to the hard line that goes to tank

Hello,

Would it be possible for you to upload a picture of the line you are mentioning?
It is the part where the nylon hose goes into the metal line?

Please let me know what you got.
Thank you.

Hi,

There are three different types of quick-connect fittings that are used to attach various fuel system components, lines, and tubes. There is a single-tab type, a two-tab type, or a plastic retainer ring type.

Take a look at the three pics I attached below and let me know which one appears to be the type used for your vehicle. Note: These fittings, in most cases, have an o-ring in them that can be easily damaged. So, be careful when removing and replacing them. Also, the o-ring should be lubricated with motor oil or even Vaseline to prevent damage.

I suspect you have the push-on type with the latch clip (pic 3) if it is on the rail, but I just want to be sure. Also, make sure you have released fuel pressure prior to disconnecting the system.

Let me know what I can do to help.

Take care,

Joe
