I assume you are referring to the front crankshaft seal. It could be a couple issues. Based on the miles, there could actually be a groove worn in the crankshaft where the seal is located allowing oil to escape. Additionally, it could be excessive end play in the crankshaft caused by worn thrust bearings.
I have attached two pictures. The first one is an exploded view of the crankshaft and its components. The second indicates tolerance specifications for bearing play. That would need checked in addition to the condition of the crankshaft where the seal is located.
