Where is the knock sensor located?

Hi,

On this engine (4.6L V8) there are two knock sensors. Both are located under the intake manifold. If you look at pic 1, I circled both.

Starting with pic two, are the directions and pics related to removal and replacement of the sensors.

Starting at pic 8, I included the directions for removal and replacement of the intake manifold. It needs to be removed to access the sensors.

Thanks for the response. Just wanted to know if I need to release the fuel pressure before beginning this job.

Since the injectors and fuel rail need to be removed, it should be done. If you look at the pics below, they include the directions for releasing pressure.
