While driving the truck, the truck started shacking, then it went off. When I took the truck to the shop, the device gave the code that the knock sensor was the problem. I already replaced the knock sensor and the device doesn't reads any code, but the truck is still shaking. What other problem can it be?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

It can be the result of several things. Has the check engine light come back on?

You have quite a few miles on the vehicle. When was the last tune up done? What the vehicle timing belt ever replaced? Was engine compression checked? If there is a loss of power, has the catalytic converter ever tested to check for blockage?

I realize I have many questions, but there are several thing that can cause the engine to run rough. Also, you indicated you replaced the knock sensor. Is it the sensor under the intake you replaced? I attached a picture to help confirm.

Also, did this start all at once? Is there anything you can think of that makes it worse?

Let me know,

Joe
