Engine Performance problem
2006 Kia Spectra 4 cyl Automatic 775550 miles
would like to know what the chenk engine means and what can I do locatate the problem or have any where to start to look

If you have an OBDII Reader you can hook it up to the 16 pin (DLC) connector right under the steering column. If not then most auto parts stores will check it for free. The CEL means that the cars onboard computer detected a problem. Sometimes minor. Sometimes serious, the only way to find out is to have it scanned for a fault code.
