2001 Kia Sophia no brakes

With car running brake pedal goes to the floor and will not stop vehicle. Turn car off and you can pump up the pedal. No fluid leaks. Vacuum hose for booster is okay and check valve works (I took it off and blew and sucked into it). What's up with the brakes. It happened immediately, not over time.

Sounds like the master cylinder may be by-passing internally. If you hit the brakes hard, is there a pedal? If you slowly push down if it goes to the floor, it is most likely the master
