Noises problem
2000 Kia Sephia

My car is making a knocking noise from the rear of the car. I don't know what the noise is and it makes me nervous to drive my car because it's so loud plus the engine light isn't on anymore either. Also my car overheats as well and it has coolant bt it still overheats. Plaese help me with this problem.

Does it make knocking noise while idling or only when moving? Is it heard more often when going over bumps or even on smooth road? As for overheating issue, check the radiator fan(s) to ensure they are coming on. If they are you may need to remove and test the thermostat.
