2004 Kia Rio Died while driving

Was driving fine down the freeway and got to my exit when I got to the bottom of the ramp the engine died and wont restart the starter is engageing but wont turn over and it dosent sound right at all any help you can give would be great

Start by checking fuel and spark.

Test fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Should have about 40 psi. Test spark at the plug, should have nice blue spark.

My Kia was doing something similar, it would die when driving. Always started up again but it was do to something in the steering wheel.

Well it turns out that Kia uses the cheapest timing belts the can find and it broke! The dealership is wanting to charge me $4000.00 for a used engine

I will never buy another kia as long as I live

If you are the first owner of the vehicle, you may want to check your warranty options. Timing belt usually has about 100K miles warranty.
