Car drove fine the day prior. The next day when going to drive it the key wouldn't turn. I tried the usual wiggle/turn the steering wheel to get it to turn, no luck. I did notice my steering wheel was turning more than I thought it should. Then it was suggested I wiggle the shifter. This locked the steering wheel up. Now the wheel is locked up misaligned to the tires with the key still not turning.
Could the wheel and tires being misaligned be an issue for turning the key now?

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the wheel being misaligned to the tires. Can you explain?

As far as the key, take a look through this link and let me know if it helps:

Let me know.

Take care,
