Jerking while driving

My car seems to jerk at normal speed, like 4-5 fast vibrations, then quits, I can mash the gas and it quits but seem as if I drive normal it kick in and out of overdrive that’s when it jerk/vibrates, but as I said it quick and the it quits. can someone please help me figure this out?

Hi,

Is the check engine light staying on while the engine is running? You may want to scan the can-bus system to see if there are codes related to the transmission or something other that could cause this to happen.

That is where I would start. If any codes are found, let me know what they are. If none are found, let me know and we'll try to figure it out. Let me know if the check engine light flashes when you feel this as well.
