Just got this vehicle and it is overheating on hot days. It seems to be worst when at higher rpms for a period of time(EX. Driving on hwy)
The motor was rebuilt and carburetor was converted to howell efi kit. Everything is new and working, (water pump, radiator, thermostat 2nd one, good water flow at various points in system, no leaks,
new radiator cap,
I am wondering if efi is making it run hotter, plus being new rebuilt and everything is tighter, if thats helping it. The new radiator is a 2 row and seems small and has a shroud, also replaced fan clutch and can here it engage when hot, what else is there? Please help, thanks steve
