We recently added a lift kit to our jeep. After adding the lift kit we noticed tranny fluid leaking, then the tranny fried. We replaced the trany with a new one that ran fine for about two days. After which the overdrive light stayed on and the tranny over heated then refused to work lost all gears. Still leakng fluid. When we checked the stick there where bubbles and it was extremly hot.

Hi there,

I would be replacing the trans oil cooler as it may be part blocked with muck from the original transmission failure, this is a common over sight on may transmissions and this can cause expensive damage to your new transmission, also on some jeep transmissions the clips that hod the cooler lines into the trans are plastic and they can fail easily, causing leaks.
