Coolant seems to be going into the engine and burning off. There is NO VISIBLE leak, and the head gasket has been replaced. All coolant fans seem to be operating properly, but the coolant resevoir needs filled after an approx 32 mile trip! Other then a cracked head, ( no visible crack when the gasket was changed) what are any other issues that could be causing it to burn off coolant at this rate? Also, the oil pressure gage is running higher then normal, and when the system was flushed at the time the head gasket was replaced, the oil had the consistancy of pudding! Help!

Hi:
First, check the engine oil to make sure it isn't contaminated with coolant (creamy). If not, with the engine cold, open the radiator and start the car. If the coolant splashes out like it's under a little pressure, chances are the head gasket is bad again and is blowing the coolant out as you drive. Finally, is there any white smoke coming from the exhaust?
