okay here's the situation. i was pulling a trailer this past winter and i hit a patch of ice and jack knifed it. now when driving first off most of the time its really hard turning, and quite often it will kick out of 4 high and shift into neutral. it vibrates between 45 and 60 but i'm certain that's the alignment, however i don't know where to begin with the other two problems. i have some auto mechanical experience so i do prefer to work on them myself. i feel it kind of a way to get to know the vehicle better.

The only thing I can tell you is to start looking for bent or damaged undercarrage parts. The transfercase has me a bit confused. Check to see if there are any vacuum lines disconnected and check to make sure the linkage hasn't moved.
