1986 Jeep Comanche U-Joint?

Noises problem
1986 Jeep Comanche 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I hear a constant clanking while in motion. I heard it might be the ujoint but i am not sure. Thanks

It could be a u-joint. With the park brake on so the truck can't move, place it in neutral so there is no tension on the drive shaft. Get under the truck and see if there is any play in the u-joints. Also, just so you know, if the u-joints are bad, many times you will feel a vibration when moving.
