1990 Jeep Cherokee, 6-cyl, 4x4, 164K miles. Time for smog check. Last time (2 years ago) I was just a bit over and had to get a new O2 sensor, then I passed but it was close to the limit. Would putting in a tank of premium fuel before the exam help at all?
