The jeep is stuck in four wheel drive. The linkage is working and it has transmisson fluid in it. I just can't figure it out. Does it have a electrical motor that switches it out of 4 wheel? What am I missing? Do I need to pull the transmisson or the transfer case. Can I hook it up to a machine and get a code? Any help would be great!

Thanks.

When you put it in 4wd, do you use a switch or a shifter lever?

This happens when you shift into four wheel drive in higher speeds than you should have. Manual says shift under 5mph. It will usually just come out of it eventually. Otherwise there is a 4wd switch on the top front of the transfer case. It might be bad
