2001 Jeep Cherokee oil pump

my oil pressure gauge drops to 0 at red lights and stop signs there is no knocking and engine still runs fine. is this my oil pump going out and if yes then where is my oil pump located? if I choose to have it repaired what is the estimated price for this repair?

Could be the oil pressure sending unit acting up-cheap fix to replace it or check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to confirm it between the oil pump or the pressure switch
