2000 Jeep Cherokee Oil Pressure

When driving, we notice that the oil pressure increases way above normal. While idling, it returns to a normal range. What could be the cause of this?

Yes my 2001 Grand Cherokee does the same thing with the oil pressure. I also have a low idle with two codes, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. P1281 and P1294.I only with I knew how to fix it.
