Chances are if it is water, it is coming from the AC and not the heater core. Have you had to add coolant? Does it have a sweat smell to it? Does it seem to leak more when you are running the AC?
Try this. Open the hood. On the passanger side of the firewall, check for the AC drain. It is a rubber hose that comes from the firewall and isn't connected to anything. Move it around. Chances are it is clogged at the end and water will spill out.
Let me know if this helps. Also, replacing the heater core is difficult.
