I am thinking of buying a 1999 Jeep Cherokee and noticed that there is some rust on the a/c hoses, on the engine block, and on the valve cover. Is this something to be worried about? How could this effect the car down the road? Is there a way to remove this rust?

Hi:
Unless the rust is excessive, I wouldn't worry about it. The AC creates condinsation which will make steel rust. Just make sure it doesn't look like something is ready to rust through.
