hi,
the other day while off roading in my jeep i hit a ditch that no one saw. the car grounded out on the bottom of it and put little dents in the corners of the radiator where the bumper got pushed back. the next day i noticed that the car stated to shake while driving and last night when starting it up it made really bad noises and loud clanking sounds. its never done this before but once moving the sounds stop.

I cant afford to take it to the shop to get it looked at and am worried about the car.

Thank you for your help

You may have a fan getting into the shroud. Does water leak from the radiator? Could also possibly be a motor mount or transmission mount broken. I have done this on a dodge truck before. You should check motor/transmission mounts to be sure. Also check radiator mounts (most likely) to be sure it hasn't been pushed back into the fan or allowing the shroud to hit the fan.

thank you very much. I relooked at the engine and found out that the noise its making is the fan is misaligned and catching on the bottom of the case
