The problem I am having is related to the fuel delivery system I THINK . The truck stutters and stalls after driving for awhile it cuts off and refuses to restart until it has sat for a half hour or so then it will start and run for the next hour or so. mind you I drive an average of 250 miles a day making deliveries.
I had it's codes checked and everything pointed to the cam shaft sensor (whch I replaced) and replaced all plugs, points and rotor button plus wires.
The codes only showed a malfuction and not a fault failure.
This is why I think it is related to the fuel pump and or fuel pump screens.
The parts store told me that there are two screens to be replaced within the tank one on the module and the other in the tank is this true? and how easy are they to replace by myself ?
