Transmission problem
1996 Jeep Cherokee Engine Size unknown All Wheel Drive Automatic 207056 miles

my transmisson is acting up, it doesnt catch any at all. I've been drivng down the road and going only 20 mph the rpm is in the red and when I crank it up I have to either press the gas hard or rev it up to get it to move. Ive had the transmission doen abotu a year or two ago, I would appreciate an advice given.

First thing DO NOT DRIVE RED LINED! You will need to replace the engine as well as the tranny, the only thing you can do is check the fluid level and color on the dipstick, if low add a bit, other than that, it may be time for another tranny, try a better shop this time!
