Fig. 8: Separate the motor from the wiper arm
Remove the wiper arm and blade assemblies.
Remove the cowl trim panel.
Disconnect the washer hose.
Remove the cowl mounting bracket attaching nuts and pivot pin attaching screws.
Disconnect the wiring harness and unfasten the wiper motor retainers.
Remove the wiper motor and the plastic motor cover, if equipped.
Remove the retainers holding the motor to the linkage assembly and bracket.
To install:
Install the retainers holding the motor to the linkage assembly and bracket.
Install the wiper motor and the plastic motor cover if equipped.
Engage the wiring harness and fasten the wiper motor retainers. Tighten the mounting nuts to 35 inch lbs. (4 Nm).
Install the cowl mounting bracket attaching nuts and pivot pin attaching screws.
Engage the washer hose, install the cowl trim panel and the wiper arm and blade assemblies
