Oil pressure at operating temp should read between 35 and 50 lbs. Also check with car in drive and foot on the brake which will give you a good idea of pressure under the most common type of idle. Other things to check for are cracked fuel lines, dirty cooling system, dirty brake fluid, worn accelerator linkage and any water leaks. Any of these conditions on their own are not serious but they are good indicators of futre problems.
