IDLE SPEED
Warm engine to operating temperature. Check ignition timing and valve clearance. Ensure throttle linkage is operating properly. Start engine and run for 2-3 minutes. Turn idle speed adjusting screw (located in auxiliary air valve) to obtain proper specification.

IDLE MIXTURE
NOTE:Mixture adjustment is not part of a normal tune-up procedure. Adjustment should be made only if mixture control unit is replaced or if vehicle fails emissions testing.

Warm engine to operating temperature, disconnect air injection system. Connect Feedback Meter (60973066) to plug next to electronic control unit (in trunk).
Reactivate oxygen sensor circuit by removing plug from fly lead (next to feedback checking point). Observe meter lights. They agree with unit operating instructions for CO checking.
