I need to know the trick on this work because in my local area either they don't want to do it, or they ask too much for the job.

Hi there,

This is so hard to describe, this is a job that you really have to see being dome to understand the method, you first have to remove any retaining clips, an supporting the cross over a vice you knock the eye down so the cup slides out, do the same on the other side, with the cross exposed support this across the vice and knock the eyes so the cups slide out, clean any burs off the eyes, you need to then press in the cups and support there cross so no rollers fall out, use the vice, when near home use old cup as a mandrel and press home, fit any retaining clips, when all together hit all cups faces with a copper hammer to settle in, the uni should move with out and tight spots. Wow. Can you understand all this?
