Is my car made with aluminum?

2003 Jaguar XJ8 V8 Automatic

Can you please help.

How can I find out whether the car is made of Aluminum or steel? (Apart from sticking a magnet to it - which doesn't stick by the way).

It belonged to my late Father and I have to sell it.
