1999 Isuzu Trooper Engine starts (with difficulty) then die

(3.0 ltr deisel engine). I stalled the car, and now it won't run. The engine starts after a few tries and will idle ok , but when I press the accellerator the engine dies. Garage mechanic has tried all sorts of things (checked filter, timing, fuel tank for leaks etc) but cannot find the problem)

Nearest Isuzu Dealer is 100 miles away and I don't have money to pay for a tow, so we cannot get it on diagnostic machine.

Has fuel pressure been checked? Also I have no info on a diesel for vehicle. Is this a made for USA?

The vehicle is in UK, so I dont know about USA market - sorry.

If you don'rt know anything about a diesel model I don't expect you wil be able to help me.

I did not realise you were in America.

Do you klnow anyone in UK who is Isuzu trained?

No I don't my Dad was born there and have couple relatives there but none no any thing about cars.
I do know about diesels just that it is not sold in US so specfice info maybe difficult to find.
But do have fuel pressure checked.
