I have a 1994 Rodeo that had, I think, an alternator problem. Junk yarded a new one. The old one had a plug in, a hot and a ground wire. The new one did not have a ground. When I tried to ground it to the housing, got a spark and some smoke. Now only my headlights work, nothing else electrical. Any ideas?
