The car listed above is Supercharged, six speed, and drives forward excellently in all gears. Clutch feels excellent. Bought it like it is. You try reverse and its first gear. I thought maybe the top shifter because its aftermarket Cravenspeed brand, but doesn't look like it. i can't get it to pop in reverse where you would feel a resistance. Removed exhaust to look at cables from below look okay. Removed air box and fooled with it, seems like the shifter linkage isn't pulling the rod as long as it needs, not sure if you have seen this before, once i pull it out with the screwdriver its in reverse. I am trying to figure out whether this is a stretched cable issue or the linkage piece on transmission is just jammed. Lubricated it but didn't work.

It looks like the cables are stretched and out of adjustment, which is common which these cars. here are instructions in the diagrams below to help you replace and adjust the shifter cables. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

I know how to do all of that, but nothing in there about how to adjust anything.

Yes, very possible, in fact that's what happens to them when they go bad.

Dang, after i replaced the aftermarket shifter under warranty and two new cables all is good, the gear shifter is now unreal. Never thought that a perfect looking cable or the shifter would do such a thing. Thanks for your help.
